You shouldn't care much but you shouldn't be ignorant and do whatever you want too
Keeping a balance is important

For example
I care if people say i don't follow fashion and look like an old lady
However
I dont go overboard and follow the low and disrespectful fashion

Plus
One should know that there are people capable of giving good judgement on others
And there are other people who cant judge even themselves
So we know who we should care about what they say
And who not to care about no matter what
