أما ترجمة الملك جيمس و ترجمةWebster's Bible Translationفقد اتفقوا على ترجمتها الى unicorn و هو الحيوان الاسطورى الذى ذكرناه سابقا و تتفق معهم السبعينية التى زكاها اباء الكنيسة مترجمة اياها الى μονοκ[FONT='Tahoma','sans-serif']έρωτος[/FONT](a unicorn )

كما فعلت ايضا فى ترجمة العدد 24: 8 و التثنية 33: 17 و مزمور 92: 10

و فى ايوب 39: 9 ترجمت ايضا الى μονοκερως (the unicorn ) .

The strength of a unicorn - ראםreem and ראיםreim. It is generally allowed that there is no such beast in nature as the unicorn; i. e., a creature of the horse kind, with one long rich curled horn in the forehead. The creature painted from fancy is represented as one of the supporters of the royal arms of Great Britain. It is difficult to say what kind of beast is intended by the original word. The Septuagint translate the word μονοκερως, the unicorn, or one-horned animal; the Vulgate, sometimes, unicornus; and in the text rhinocerotis, by which the rhinoceros, a creature which has its name from the horn on its nose, is supposed to be meant. That no single-horned animal can be intended by the reem of Moses, is sufficiently evident from this, that Moses, speaking of Joseph, says, “he has the Horns of A unicorn,” or reem, where the horns are spoken of in the plural, the animal in the singular. The creature referred to is either the rhinoceros, some varieties of which have two horns on the nose, or the wild bull, urus, or buffalo; though some think the beast intended is a species of goat; but the rhinoceros seems the most likely. There is literally a monoceros, or unicorn, with one large curled ivory horn growing horizontally out of his snout; but this is not a land animal, it is the modiodan or nurwal, a marine animal of the whale kind, a horn of which is now before me, measuring seven feet four inches; but I believe the rhinoceros is that intended by the sacred writers.



الترجمة التفسيرية :

عامة لا يوجد وحش فى الطبيعة مثل الريم او فى قوة اليونيكورن و هو مخلوق من نوعِ الحصانَ بقرن طويل وضخم فى جبهته هذا المخلوق رسم من الخيال وصور كمؤيد للجيوش الملكية لبريطانيا .

تُترجم الكلمة الاصليه فى السبعينيه [font=''TITUS Cyberbit Basic'']μονοκερως[/font], the unicorn او الحيوان ذو القرن الوحيد فى الفولجيتا احيانا تكتب unicornusوفى النص تكتب rhinocerotis (الذى يقصد به الكركدن) ، يُفترض بان المقصود هو نفس الحيوان الذى لديه قرن على انفه وله نفس الاسم وهو الكركدن فى قصة ريم موسى لم يذكر حيوان بقرن واحد ولكن ذكر حيوان بقرنين فتكلم عن القرون بصيغة الجمع وتكلم عن الحيوان بصيغة المفرد مما يجعلنا نفترض ان الحيوان كان من نوع الكركدن والكركدن يوجد منه انواع بقرنين على الانف او ثور برى او جاموس وحشى ومع ذلك فالبعض يعتقد ان الوحش المذكور فى القصة هو نوع من انواع الماعز ولكن على الاغلب ان الوحش المقصود هو الكركدن بشكل حرفى ذكر حيوان اسمه

a monoceros, or unicorn, لديه قرن عاجى ضخم ينمو افقيا خارج من خطمه ولكن هذا ليس بحيوان ارضى انه the modiodan or nurwal اى حيوان بحرى من نوع الحوت يصل طول قرنه 7 اقدام بوصات لكنى اعتقد ان الحيوان المقصود فى كتابات القديسين هو الكركدن .

و بعد استعراض التحليل اللغوى للعددين السابقين اعتقد ان الامر اصبح واضحا و كيف يتعامل المترجمين مع النص .

و لتوضيح ذلك اكتر دعو نا نستعرض العددتثنية 14: 5و التى ترجمت فيه كل الترجمات العربية التى نستخدمها الكلمة العبرية الى الرئم و عندما تحاول ان تعرف ما هى الكلمة العبرية التى ترجمت الى الرئم ستجدها ليستרםاوרים اوראים اوראםو لكن ستجدها كلمة اخرى و هىדישׁן(dee-shone' ) .

The pygarg -דישןdishon. As this word is nowhere else used, we cannot tell what animal is meant by it. The word pygargπυγαργος, literally signifies white buttocks, and is applied to a kind of eagle with a white tail; but here it evidently means a quadruped. It was probably some kind of goat, common and well known in Judea.





דישןهذة الكلمة غير مستخدمة فى غير هذا الموضع و لا نستطيع تحديد اى حيوان تعنى . كلمة pygarg ) πυγαργος) تشير الى خلفية بيضاء و يمكن تطبيق ذلك على نوع من النسور بزيل ابيض و لكن هنا تشير بشكل واضح الى حيوان من ذوات الاربع . و ربما يشير الى نوع من الماعز معروف لليهود .

Pygarg انواع من الظبى بخلفية بيضاء بقرنين ملويان بطول قدمين و تقف حوالى ثلاثة اقدام و سبع بوصات اهلى الاكتاف و هى شائعة فى الطرق التى يسلكها عادة الاسرائيلين .

العدد السابق يوضح لنا ان ترجمات الاعداد السابقة بها شبهة التحريف العمد حيث ان هنا الترجمات العربية لم تختلف فى ترجمة اسم هذا الحيوان على اساس انه الرئم او الظبى الخالص البياض مع ان أدم كلارك اوضح ان كلمة pygarg - דישן ((dishonهى غير محددة تماما و انها قد تشير الى نوع من انواع النسور ذو الذيل الابيض او نوع من انواع الماعز و يحدد تفسير Fausset and David Brown بصورة واضحة ان الكائن المقصود هنا هو الغزال , و يحدد اسمه العلمى Oryx addaxالذى ذكرناه سابقا ( الرئم )
