I have a technical question regarding cryptext3.4.
For checking the validity of a password, cryptext generates 160 bits from the password only, and add them to the end of any encrypted file. These 160 bits are different than those put in the registery.
My question is: how are these 160 bits generated? Thank you for your help

Thank you brother for your reply.
Well if you have developed the arabic version, it means that you have the source code for encryption. Then you can for sure get the information of how the last 160 bits have been calculated from the password.

Brother, even if the program is strong as you said, this does not explain why Nick Payne didn't tell anything about this issue.

Any way, it will be great if you can help me. And if you don't know how to extract this information, I can do this if you send me (not all but just) the part used for encryption in the arabic source code.
